Well, not a lot has happened between now and my last journal entry. Hardly anyone watches me anyway so it probably won't matter. :^/

Anyway, just posted a journal saying that he got Sonic Unleashed for about $50. I bet I can top that story.

When I went in to pick up a new game at EB Games, I had the intention of trading in Need for Speed Prostreet.

I went there and told the guy behind the counter that I wanted to trade in Prostreet for either Armored Core: For Answer ($110) or Sonic Unleashed (also $110). I had to be 18 years old to trade in games, so the guy behind the counter said that he'll discount the game because I traded in NFS PS, and I'll hold onto the game for later so it doesn't get mixed up.

My father arrives, and I finish the transaction as normal.

Here's the kicker, when I got Unleashed from EB Games, I completely forgot to give him Prostreet in return and I still got the 10% discount.

So, I got a 10% discount from a game that I forgot to trade in, and I got a plastic Werehog with it that's almost as tall as the game case. XD

Better yet, I walked around for a while to get something to eat, and about fifteen minutes after I got Unleashed, the same guy who got me the game walked past me and said "Have fun".

What do I think about my game decision?

Honestly, I would have preferred AC: FA. Still, Sonic Unleashed is a pretty good game. Pick it up if you're a fan of the Sonic series, and don't hesitate because of the disaster that was Sonic the Hedgehog '06.

If you prefer the speedy Sonic stages and a simple and a constant boosting ability, get the 360 or the PS3 version.
If you prefer the God of War-esque fighting stages and incremental boosts, get the Wii version.
